MY RODS
Many experiments and related tests have been done on the river (thanks also to the precious contribution of friends who are skilled casters). The rods I build today are fast, I believe that a rod, when fishing (not on the grass), must respond immediately, without making many calculations; often the water reaches the waist, there is vegetation… in short, we are not in the gym. No Rodmaker, I believe, wants to make comparisons or competitions with graphite rods, it is another material. Bamboo and “fast” are not an oxymoron, however; you can get light and pleasant rods even with this material. All the models I make, blond or flamed, are hollow built (emptied with the scalloped technique). I use, when possible, components of my own production, otherwise top quality materials. The joints are all in nickel silver.
