The two pieces

The classic format, two pieces of the same length, with 1 or 2 tips. Fast rods, with progressive action.

Two differentiated pieces (Staggered Ferrules)

For all sizes the tip measures 48”, with 1 or 2 tips. Fast, progressive rod. The lowering of the joint (more accentuated in the shorter versions) makes its weight less influential in the dynamics of the cast. Combined with the hollowing, it gives greater reactivity compared to the classic 2-piece

The Three Pieces

Fast “suitcase” rods, more progressive in their action than the previous ones. Pleasant in the extension. You give up a bit of speed in exchange for greater transportability. These too with 1 or 2 tips.

The One-Piece

Technical and high-performance rod, pleasant to cast and to fish. Perhaps the rod that has given me the greatest satisfaction in construction and use in fishing. Six strips of the same bamboo culm, without interruption from the butt to the tip, also these hollowed out. There are no metal inserts, which however well positioned, modify the inertia. Some complications in the construction phase (choice of the culm, length of the strips, tempering …) well compensated by the final result. Although their bulk is greater, they easily fit into a small utility vehicle
